HTML Programming for Beginners and Advanced programmers brought to you by: Aaron "A" Tadeo INTRODUCTION Creating your own web page is really fun and entertaining, especially when it is you're using the Internet for several hours a day. Of course, creating a simple page is easy, if you use a page maker like, Front Page Express, Hotdog pro., Claris Home Page, etc. It's easy to create a web page with these utilities, you just click and drag. But there are more advantages in programming your web page by just editing it. You learn how to organize your site properly, you'll have an extra experience in programming, therefore expanding your ability to create programs, documents, applications, and more. Now, let's go to the HTML part. If you don't know yet, HTML means Hypertext Mark-up Language. HTML is some kind of a programming language which is translated by your browser to be displayed on your screen. As in programming languages like C, C++, BASIC, Pascal, your program is translated by the compiler to machine language. HTML Programming is, well, not that easy. HTML is composed of tags, which we may call the commands, and a single mistake in placing a tag can make your page disastrous. Now, I'm going to teach you how to use these tags to create your web page. For beginners , those who'll be trying HTML programming for the first time, I'm going to teach you about how to put text in your page, changing the appearance of your text: the color size, font, etc. also, how to put graphics, add music, link to another page or another location within your page, and more. For advanced programmers, or for those who have an experience in HTML programming, I'll be touching the scope of forms, frames, tables, multimedia, and more. As for now, the beginners page is completed. You may view it now. But the advanced and misc. pages are still being worked on. Please wait for further announcements. I would like to apologize for a slow update. Preliminary Exams came up last week and I have no time to update. Now that I have more time, I'll do my best to finish things up.
